I'd like more of the technology we use every day to involve Polish ideas and expertise. That's why I'm watching the development of cooperation between Poland and Taiwan with interest.
In early September, a Polish delegation held talks in Taipei about the planned technology park in Miękinia near Wrocław. Preparations and work on the terms of cooperation are under way. It's a concrete project worth following. Information from the Miękinia Municipal Office.
Areas of cooperation being discussed include artificial intelligence, semiconductors, drones and green energy. Statement from Taiwan's president.
Then there is our raw-material potential. Poland has significant copper and silver deposits, and other valuable elements, including rhenium, are recovered from domestic ores. We have resources of our own that should inform our thinking about industrial development. Polish Geological Institute.
In my view, combining Poland's raw-material and engineering base with Taiwan's technological experience could open interesting opportunities. This is a potential direction whose success would require concrete projects, economically viable processing of raw materials and investment in people.
As an entrepreneur, I'd like us to develop the entire process in Poland: from raw materials through research and design to a finished product and a brand sold worldwide. That's where I see an opportunity to build lasting value.
That's why I'm rooting for this cooperation. What interests me most is how much expertise, how many original solutions and how many opportunities for Polish companies it can create.
In which field would you most like to see a Polish brand achieve global success? 🤔
